母曰李太后，以唐長興二年，歲在辛卯，三月七日，生帝於鄴都之舊第。 His mother was Empress Dowager Li. In the second year of the Tang era Changxing (xinmao), on the seventh day of the third month, the emperor was born at the family's former residence in Yedu.

丁亥，帝於萬歲殿門東廡下見群臣，尊母後為皇太后。 On dinghai the emperor received the ministers beneath the eastern corridor of the Hall of Ten Thousand Years and elevated his mother to Empress Dowager.
