成宗崩，仁宗以太后命，首定大難，及武宗還自朔方，遂入正大統，定策之際，天挺與有力焉。 When Chengzong died, Renzong, acting on the empress dowager's orders, first resolved the succession crisis; when Wuzong returned from the north the legitimate line was restored, and Tianting played a decisive part in the deliberations.
