肅宗問揆，對曰：「前代後妃，終則有謚，景龍不君，韋氏專恣，乃稱翊聖。 Emperor Suzong asked Kui, who answered: "In earlier ages empresses and consorts received posthumous titles only after death. During the Jinglong years the throne went astray and the Wei clan seized unchecked power; only then was the title 'Assisting Sage' used.
