母昭懿皇后夏氏，以天祐十一年歲在甲戌，十一月二十八日庚申，生帝於晉陽舊第。 His mother was Empress Zhao-yi of the Xia clan. In the eleventh year of Tianyou, the jiaxu year, on gengshen, the twenty-eighth day of the eleventh month, the future Emperor was born at the old family residence in Jinyang.
