唐天成中，範延光鎮成德，辟趙州軍事判官，遷石邑令。 During the Tiancheng reign of the Tang, Fan Yanguang governed Chengde and recruited him as military administrator of Zhao Prefecture; he was later promoted to magistrate of Shiyi.
