兆麟又發宏燧買金行賄狀，期成額等奏聞，逮訊，買金非行賄，乃迎合因培及湖北布政使赫升額意指，代武陵知縣馮其柘補虧空。 Zhaolin also uncovered Hongsui's gold purchases. After Qicheng'e reported this and arrests were made, it emerged that the gold was not a bribe but had been bought to oblige Yinpei and Hubei treasurer Hesheng'e and to make up a deficit for Wuling magistrate Feng Qizhe.
