彥卿領數十騎遽至城下,仁恕遣其徒執彥卿馬,請隨入城,俄頃,彥卿子昭序自城中遣軍校陳守習縋而出,大呼賊中曰:「相公當為國討賊,何故自入虎口,乃助賊攻城? Yanqing led several dozen horsemen and suddenly arrived beneath the city wall. Renshu sent his followers to seize Yanqing's horse and invited him to enter the city. Shortly afterward Yanqing's son Zhaoxu had the officer Chen Shouxi lowered by rope from inside the city and shouted among the bandits, "The lord chancellor should be suppressing bandits for the state — why enter the tiger's maw yourself and help the bandits attack the city?
