晉高祖鎮河陽，以為客將，其後嘗從高祖，高祖即位，拜客省使。 When Jin Gaozu governed Heyang, he made Shouzhen a guest general. He later often followed Gaozu, and when Gaozu took the throne Shouzhen was appointed commissioner of the guest bureau.
