光化三年，李嗣昭攻梁邢、洺，出青山，遇葛從周兵，嗣昭大敗走，梁兵追之。 In Guanghua 3 (900), Li Sizhao marched against Liang’s Xing and Ming and debouched through Green Mountain into Ge Congzhou’s host. Sizhao was routed and fled; Liang gave chase.

嗣源急呼曰：「吾取葛公，士卒可無動！」 Siyuan cried out, “I mean to seize Lord Ge myself—men, hold your ranks!”
