其明年，大將軍、票騎大出擊胡，賞賜五十萬金，軍馬死者十餘萬匹，轉漕車甲之費不與焉。 The following year, General-in-Chief Wei Qing and General of Agile Cavalry Huo Qubing launched a major campaign against the Xiongnu. Rewards amounted to 500,000 jin of gold; more than 100,000 army horses died, not counting the costs of transport, wagons, and armor.
