光宗即位，遷太常寺簿，論今禮教廢闕，請敕有司取政和冠昏喪葬儀，及司馬光、高閌等書參訂行之。 Guangzong made him Imperial Sacrifices recorder; he said ritual teaching was abandoned and asked offices to revise Zhenghe rites and books by Sima Guang and Gao Kang and enact them.
