明昌三年，下節金挺回至平州撫寧縣，毆死當驛人何添兒，有司請「凡人使往還，乞量設兵衞」。 In Mingchang 3, during the lower festival Jin Ting was returning through Funing County in Pingzhou when he beat to death the station attendant He Tian'er. Officials proposed, "For all envoys traveling to and fro, we request that guards be stationed as needed."
