太祝以幣授侍中以進，皇帝受幣，跪奠於高祖神堯皇帝，俛伏，興，拜，降自南陛，復于位。 The Chief Invoker hands silks to the attendant-in-chief to advance; the Emperor receives the silks, kneels and presents them to the High Ancestor Emperor Shenyao, prostrates, rises, bows, descends the southern steps, and returns to position.

皇帝將奠配帝之幣，謁者七人，分引獻官奉玉幣俱進，跪奠於諸神之位； When the emperor is about to present the silks for the paired emperor, seven ushers separately lead the offering officials forward with jade and silks; they kneel and present them at the positions of the various spirits;
