侯景平後，王僧辯使異慰勞東陽，仍糾合鄉閭，保據巖阻，其徒甚盛，州郡憚焉。 After Hou Jing was crushed Wang Sengbian sent Yi to reassure Dongyang, but Yi still rallied the countryside and held the passes. His following was huge, and the region feared him.
