五月丁酉，皇太妃薨，廢朝五日。 On dingyou of the fifth month, the Imperial Grand Consort died, and court was suspended for five days.

太祖正室，於莊宗為嫡母，書「太妃」及「輟朝」，見亂世禮壞而恩薄。 She was Taizu’s principal wife and Zhuangzong’s legitimate mother. The wording “Grand Consort” and the suspended court show how ritual decayed and familial feeling thinned in an age of disorder.
