詔曰：「豫寧縣開國伯、新除散騎常侍、領左軍將軍馮道根，奉上能忠，有功不伐，撫人留愛，守邊難犯，祭遵、馮異、郭伋、李牧，不能過也。
The edict said, "Feng Daogen, founding Count of Yuning county, newly appointed Regular Attendant and acting Left Army General, served his sovereign with loyalty, had merit without boasting, governed the people and left affection behind, and defended the frontier so that it was hard to violate; Ji Zun, Feng Yi, Guo Ji, and Li Mu could not surpass him.
