未幾，卒於軍，帝深惜之，贈太子太傅，封一等男爵，以子吉郎阿嗣，諡文勤。 He soon died in the field. The emperor mourned him deeply, posthumously made him Grand Tutor of the Heir Apparent and first-class baron, with his son Jilang'a as heir, and gave him the posthumous name Wengqin, "Cultivated and Diligent."
