令布政使廣厚、總兵吉蘭泰截剿，自趨賈家店、黑馬關抄擊藍號賊，敗之於老柏樹，复花翎。 he had Provincial Commissioner Guanghou and Brigadier Jilantai cut them off while he himself swung to Jiajiadian and Heimaguan to hit the Blue-Banner rebels from behind, routed them at Laobaishu, and won back his peacock feather.
