上公一人詣西階席,脫舄,跪,解劍置於席,升,當御座前,北面跪賀,稱:「某官臣某言:元正首祚,景福惟新,伏惟開元神武皇帝陛下與天同休。」 A senior duke went to the western-step mat, removed his shoes, knelt, laid his sword on the mat, ascended, and knelt north of the throne to congratulate the emperor: "Official So-and-so, your servant So-and-so, says: At the year's first fortune, blessings renew; may Your Majesty the Kaiyuan Divine Martial Emperor share Heaven's repose."
