其在成王時，召王為三公：自陜以西，召公主之； During King Cheng's reign, the Duke of Shao served as one of the Three Ducal Ministers: west of Shan, the Duke of Shao administered it;

成王既幼，周公攝政，當國踐祚，召公疑之，作君奭。 King Cheng was still young, so the Duke of Zhou acted as regent and took charge of the state. The Duke of Shao suspected him and wrote the Jun Shi.
