九年，孔文子問兵於仲尼，仲尼不對。 In the ninth year, Kong Wenzi asked Zhong Ni about warfare, but Zhong Ni did not answer.

十二年，初，孔圉文子取太子蒯聵之姊，生悝。 In the twelfth year—this had happened earlier—Kong Yu, posthumously Kong Wenzi, married the crown prince Kuai Kui's sister, and she gave birth to Kui.

孔氏之豎渾良夫美好，孔文子卒，良夫通於悝母。 Hun Liangfu, an attendant of the Kong clan, was handsome. After Kong Wenzi died, Liangfu had illicit relations with Kui's mother.
