Yanzhen's son Congxun was violent and defiant by nature.
王鐸自滑移鎮滄州,過魏郊,從訓見其女妓,利之,先伏兵於漳南高雞泊,俟鐸之至,圍而害之,掠其所有。
When Wang Duo was transferred from Hua to Cangzhou and passed through Wei's borderlands, Congxun saw his female entertainers and coveted them. He ambushed troops at Gaojipo south of Zhang, surrounded Duo when he arrived, killed him, and looted all he possessed.
