偕雷正綰規取金積堡，屯強家沙窩，數有斬獲。 Together with Lei Zhengwan he planned the capture of Jinjibao, encamped at Qiangjiashawo, and won repeated victories.

輕進，為賊所包鈔，正綰軍先潰，克忠亦退。 Advancing too boldly he was surrounded by rebels. Zhengwan's army broke first, and Kezhong withdrew as well.

時陶茂林、雷正綰軍相繼譁變，回氛益熾，自楊岳斌楚軍外，僅克忠一軍與之相持。 At that time the armies of Tao Maolin and Lei Zhengwan mutinied one after another and the Muslim rebellion burned hotter than ever. Apart from Yang Yuebin's Chu Army, only Kezhong's force still held the line against the rebels.
