先是，江南李景以王師猶在壽州，遣其將林仁肇、郭廷謂率水陸軍至下蔡，欲奪浮梁，以舟實薪芻，乘風縱火，永德禦之。 Li Jing had sent Lin Renzhao and Guo Tingyu with a combined force to Xiacai to seize the pontoon bridge, loading fire ships with fuel; Zhang Yongde held them off.
