十六年，偕尚書湯金釗赴陝西、四川按劾巡撫楊名颺、布政使李羲文，並下嚴議，尋复按名颺被訐事，褫其職。 In the sixteenth year he joined Minister Tang Jinzhao on an investigative tour of Shaanxi and Sichuan to impeach Governor Yang Mingyang and provincial administration commissioner Li Yiwen; both cases went to strict review. When the inquiry into denunciations against Yang was reopened, Yang was stripped of office.
