子朝棟，光緒中，法兵犯台灣，陷基隆，朝棟率家兵助戰有功，捐鉅貲，賜四品京堂，有聲於時。 His son Chaodong, during the Guangxu reign when French forces invaded Taiwan and took Keelung, led family troops into the fight with distinction, gave a large donation, received the rank of Fourth Rank Capital Official, and won a wide reputation.
