三年，破樵溪口賊莊，斬其酋林傳，毀張厝莊、四塊厝賊巢，戴萬生、林戇晟並伏誅。 In 1864 he stormed the rebel village at Qiaoxikou, killed its chief Lin Chuan, destroyed the nests at Zhangcuo Village and Sikuaicuo, and Dai Wansheng and Lin Gansheng were both put to death.
