泉州軍將留從効詐其州人曰：「富沙王兵收福州矣，吾屬世為王氏臣，安能交臂而事賊乎？」 The Quanzhou officer Liu Congxiao deceived the people of the prefecture, saying, "The Prince of Fusha's troops have already taken Fuzhou. We have been Wang subjects for generations—how can we fold our arms and serve rebels?"
