帝命宣武、劉玄佐督諸軍進援，大破其兵。 The emperor ordered the Xuanwu army and Liu Xuanzuo to direct the relief and inflicted a crushing defeat on Na's army.

納還濮陽，玄佐進圍之，殘其郛。 Na fell back to Puyang, where Xuanzuo besieged him and tore down the outer ramparts.

納登陴見玄佐，泣且悔，遣判官房說與子弟質京師，因玄佐謝罪。 Na climbed the battlements to face Xuanzuo in tears and remorse, sent his secretary Fang Yue and his sons to the capital as hostages, and sued for pardon through Xuanzuo.
