永定二年，坐妻弟劉淹詐受周寶安餉馬，為御史中丞沈炯所劾，降為中書侍郎，舍人如故。 In Yongding year 2 (558) his wife's younger brother Liu Yan was found to have fraudulently accepted horses from Zhou Bao'an; Censor-in-Chief Shen Jiong impeached him and he was demoted to secretariat gentleman, keeping his post as attendant.
