漢聞齊發兵而西，相國呂產乃遣大將軍灌嬰東擊之。 When word reached the Han court that Qi had raised an army and was marching west, the Chancellor Lü Chan dispatched the Grand General Guan Ying eastward to intercept them.

呂祿、呂產欲作亂關中，朱虛侯與太尉勃、丞相平等誅之。 When Lü Lu and Lü Chan attempted their coup within the passes, the Marquis of Zhuxu joined with Grand Commandant Zhou Bo and Chancellor Chen Ping to put them to death.

朱虛侯首先斬呂產，於是太尉勃等乃得盡誅諸呂。 The Marquis of Zhuxu was the first to strike down Lü Chan, and with that, Grand Commandant Zhou Bo and the others were able to exterminate the entire Lü clan.
