崧謂掌書呂柔曰：「魏王皇子，天下之望，書奏之職，非蕘所當。」 Song told the secretary Lü Rou, "The Prince of Wei is an imperial prince on whom the empire's hopes rest; the office of drafting memorials is not one Li Rao should hold."

柔私使崧代為之，以示盧質、馮道，道等皆以為善。 Rou secretly had Song draft the documents in his place and showed them to Lu Zhi and Feng Dao, who all approved.
