從平方臘，獲賊帥呂師囊，遷同州觀察使、浙東都鈐轄，改浙西。 He took part in suppressing Fang La, captured the rebel leader Lu Shinai, was made observation commissioner of Tongzhou and overall commander of eastern Zhe, then transferred to western Zhe.
