呂諲政事出揆遠甚，以故宰相鎮荊南，治聲尤高。 Lu Yun's handling of affairs far outshone Kui's; as a former chancellor posted to Jingnan, his reputation for governance was especially high.

揆懼復用，遣吏至諲所，構抉過失，諲密訴諸朝。 Kui feared Yun would be brought back into office, sent officials to his post to fabricate and expose faults, and Yun secretly appealed to the court.
