川匪王三槐擾保寧，羅其清、冉文儔分掠川東，命移兵赴川，與宜綿合剿。 When the Sichuan rebel Wang Sanhuai raided Baoning and Luo Qiqing and Ran Wenchou pillaged eastern Sichuan, he was ordered into Sichuan to campaign jointly with Yimian.

三年，截擊其清，腿中槍，創甚，解任回旗就醫。 In the third year he intercepted Qiqing, took a musket ball in the leg, was badly wounded, resigned his post, and returned to his banner to recover.
