會都察院奏廣西州判程旦詣院訴土司羅文剛掠村落抗官兵，上責紱與繼任巡撫甘汝來逡巡貽害，命紱與汝來至廣西捕治，不獲，當重譴。 Meanwhile the Censorate reported that Guangxi Assistant Prefect Cheng Dan had come to the court to complain that native chieftain Luo Wengang had raided villages and resisted government troops. The emperor blamed Fu and his successor Governor Gan Rulai for dithering that had allowed the harm, and ordered Fu and Rulai to go to Guangxi to capture and punish the offenders; if they failed, they would face severe punishment.
