六年，迭敗高天德、馬學禮於鐵爐川、舊州鋪、綱廠、武關，擒襄陽賊首馬應祥，詔嘉獎。 In the sixth year he repeatedly defeated Gao Tiande and Ma Xueli at Tieluchuan, Jiuzhoupu, Gangchang, and Wuguan, captured the Xiangyang rebel leader Ma Yingxiang, and won an imperial commendation.
