元瑞子翼蒙，官江南鹽巡道，坐事免，元瑞自劾，又坐誤舉編修繆晉，下吏議，上皆寬之。 Yuanrui's son Yimeng, intendant of the Jiangnan Salt Circuit, was dismissed for misconduct; Yuanrui impeached himself and was also charged with wrongly recommending Compiler Miu Jin—both cases went to the judicial officials, and the Emperor showed lenience in each.
