嘗為冀州刺史万俟受洛制《清德頌》，其文典麗，由是神武聞之。 He once composed the "Eulogy of Pure Virtue" for Moqi Shouluo, Inspector of Ji Province. Its writing was elegant, and because of this Gao Huan heard of him.
