齊主聞晉州見圍，乃將兵十萬，自來援之。 The Northern Qi ruler, hearing Jin Province was besieged, then led one hundred thousand troops himself to relieve it.

時齊主分軍萬人向千里徑，又令其衆出汾水關，自率大兵與椿對陣。 At the time the Northern Qi ruler divided ten thousand troops toward Thousand-Li Path and also ordered his host out through Fen River Pass; he himself led the great army to face Chun in battle array.
