廖氏，臨江軍貢士歐陽希文之妻也。 Liao Shi was the wife of Ouyang Xiwen, a presented scholar of Linjiang.

紹興三年春，盜起建昌，號“白氈笠”，過臨江，希文與妻共挾其母傅走山中，為賊所追。 In the spring of the third year of Shaoxing bandits rose in Jianchang, calling themselves "White Felt Hats." Passing through Linjiang, Xiwen and his wife escorted their mother Fu into the mountains and were pursued by bandits.

廖以身蔽姑，使希文負之逃。 Liao shielded her mother-in-law with her body and had Xiwen carry her and flee.
