彭列女，生洪州分寧農家。 Peng Lienu was born into a farming family in Fenning, Hongzhou.

從父泰入山伐薪，父遇虎，將不脫，女拔刀斫虎，奪其父而還。 Her uncle Tai went into the mountains to gather firewood when her father encountered a tiger and could not escape. The girl drew a knife, hacked at the tiger, rescued her father, and brought him home.
