元徽元年，爲晉熙王征虜長史、江夏內史，遷侍中，領步兵校尉。 In the first year of the Yuanhui era he was made chief administrator to the General Who Subdues the Barbarians for the Prince of Jinxi and Interior Administrator of Jiangxia, then promoted to Palace Attendant while retaining the post of Colonel of the Footsoldiers.

復出爲晉熙王鎮西長史，加冠軍將軍、江夏武昌太守。 He was again sent out as chief administrator to the General Who Guards the West for the Prince of Jinxi, with the additional rank of General Who Establishes Valor and the posts of Grand Administrator of Jiangxia and Wuchang.
