出爲豫章王子尚撫軍長史，遷散騎常侍，復爲新安王子鸞北中郎長史、南東海太守，行南徐州事，二蕃皆帝愛子也。 He went out as chief clerk on Prince of Yuzhang Zishang's pacification staff, was moved to attendant at leisure, then again became chief clerk on Prince of Xin'an Ziluan's northern central commandant staff and administrator of Southern Donghai, with charge of southern Xuzhou—both feudatories were the emperor's beloved sons.
