三年四月，昭宗遣延王、通王率禁兵討李茂貞，為茂貞所敗，車駕幸渭橋。 In the fourth month of year 3, Emperor Zhaozong sent the Princes of Yan and Tong at the head of the palace troops to attack Li Maozhen. Maozhen defeated them, and the emperor fled to Wei Bridge.

八月，建以兵圍十六宅，通王以下十一王並遇害於石堤穀，以謀逆聞。 Month 8 he besieged the Sixteen Residences; Prince Tong and ten other princes were killed at Shidi Valley as alleged traitors.
