侯景之亂，后與弟盼往江陵，依梁元帝，帝以長城公主故，待遇甚厚，以配宣帝。 During Hou Jing's rebellion she and her brother Pan fled to Jiangling and were sheltered by Emperor Yuan of Liang, who, for the sake of the princess of Changcheng, treated them well and gave her to the future Emperor Xuan.
