Earlier Wengguimi, Kunmi of Wusun, had petitioned through Chang Hui, Marquis of Changluo, asking that his son Yuanguimi, a grandson of the Han imperial house through his mother, succeed him and marry the Lesser Princess. This would renew the marriage alliance, attach Wusun to Han, and sever its ties with the Xiongnu.

In Shenjue 2 he sent Chang Hui to escort the princess to Yuanguimi.
惠從塞下上書,願留少主敦煌郡。
