師克約咱，上以阿爾泰鑄大砲利軍行，予散秩大臣銜。
When the army captured Yozai, the emperor credited Aertai's cast cannon with aiding the campaign and granted him minister-without-portfolio rank.
三十七年，與總兵宋元俊劾桂林覆軍諱敗，上為罷桂林，即命阿爾泰攝總督。
In the thirty-seventh year he and regional commander Song Yuanjun impeached Guilin for annihilating his force and concealing defeat; the emperor dismissed Guilin and immediately had Aertai act as governor.
