道光元年，從總督慶保剿平永北大姚夷匪，賜花翎，署永昌知府。 In 1821, serving under Governor-General Qingbao, he helped suppress the Yi rebels of Yongbei and Dayao, received the peacock feather, and acted as prefect of Yongchang.
