命視提督例賜卹，加都督同知，諡勇烈，祀昭忠祠，官其子承恩都司，承緒千總。 He was granted posthumous relief on the scale accorded a provincial commander, raised posthumously to Vice Commissioner-in-chief, given the posthumous name Yonglie (Valiant and Steadfast), enshrined in the Shrine of Manifest Loyalty, and his sons Chengen and Chengxu were appointed battalion commander and company captain.

承緒官巡捕營游擊，市中火，赴救被創，卒。 Chengxu held the post of battalion colonel in the patrol garrison; when fire broke out in the city he rushed to help, was wounded, and died.

上之赦承恩，謂其未有子，承緒又死勤事，不可使舉無嗣也。 In pardoning Chengen, the emperor noted that Chengen had no son and Chengxu had died in the performance of his duty; Ren Ju's line could not be allowed to end.
